Usually requested by a valuer or surveyor following their inspection of the property for mortgage purposes and relates to specific defects for which he requests the opinion of a Chartered Structural Engineer.
Once instructed, we make arrangements to visit the property, inspect the specified defects, and produce a short Report. This details the problem inspected, and includes an opinion as to cause and structural significance, together with recommendations for further investigations if necessary, together with any remedial works considered appropriate by the Engineer.
